CB1 GALLERY
Background & Mission Statement
CB1 Gallery was established in early 2010 and exhibits and promotes an intellectually demanding yet aesthetically pleasing group of younger and mid-career artists who cross disciplines and political perspectives. The gallery's artists work in a range of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and photography. The gallery will mount up to 15 solo and curated group exhibitions annually, including smaller shows in the CB1 West Gallery, adjacent to the main CB1 Gallery.
Our mission is to help stimulate a fresh dialogue on contemporary art and artists. We are committed to encouraging strong relationships with museum and private curators, other contemporary art galleries, established and emerging collectors, and the art media in order to promote and develop gallery artists worldwide. In upcoming months the gallery will begin participation in art fairs throughout the US and Internationally.
